After completing his training in plastic surgery at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Landis remained there as full-time faculty member treating patients and teaching plastic surgery to medical students and surgery residents .
Dr. Landis continues to teach students and residents cutting edge techniques in plastic surgery as an Adjunct Professor of Surgery.
Since 2003, the Minneapolis-St. Paul magazine has named Dr. Landis a “Top Doc” as judged by 5000 nurses and physicians in the Twin Cities. Minnesota Monthly named Dr. Landis one of the Best Doctors for Women – as selected by their peers. The Plymouth Magazine recently featured Dr. Landis.
In addition to the full time clinical practice, Dr. Landis” recent contributions to the field of plastic surgery include authoring a chapter on cleft lip surgery, teaching facial reconstruction at a nationwide conference of surgeons, and serving on committees of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He seved as the President of the Minnesota Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Landis practices cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, performing operations that both restore function and improve appearance.
Dr. Landis has particular expertise in microvascular surgery which makes him expert in trigger point decompression surgery to treat certain chronic migaines.
Dr. Landis is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
